Dog Days of Summer

Oy...it's effing HOT! Sweat is happening a lot. Sucks! I really don't like Texas in the summer; it was especially hard getting used to the ridiculously high temperatures after we got back from our summer vaycay. Have I mentioned how much I love the North East. I feel like it is my true home, the place I feel most comfortable. I miss it...all the time! I love NY!



Meg's wedding was fabulous. We had the best time catching up and celebrating. The reception was on the water and the day was perfect.





My very sweet in-laws had a little birthday gathering for me in CT. Eileen made a nice lunch and Uncle Ed took care of the frozen margaritas. They even got me a cake!



We had a fabulous time on our road trip. The RV was great! I ate my weight in lobster and seafood. Spent tons of time relaxing, reading and playing gin rummy. I'm the gin rummy champion!












Thank you NY for always making me feel at home. Thanks Meg for being one of the best people in the world and including me in your special day. Thanks Anderson's for being my family. Thanks New England for an amazing experience that has made me a better person. Traveling fulfills my life and I'm very grateful that we are able to see the world. I'm already planning next summers vaycay...maybe Istanbul??
