Fun Fun Fun

That's a good way to describe Chris and I, but it's also a the name of another music festival in the ATX. Chris and I met up with a few friends and enjoyed some great music, while inhaling large amounts of dust! My allergies were OOC on Sunday from all the dirt I sucked in through my nose and drank in my beer. Seriously people, think big dirty boogers. It was a big dusty mess, but we still had fun.

El Paso Hot Button. Pretty good for a one man band.

Black Heart Procession. One of my old faves, but I wish they would have played at night.

Wursfest = Bestfest

The 10 day salute to sausage kicked off last weekend in New Braunfels. The hub has been talking about going to Wurstfest for years and this year we finally made it happen. Our friend Mike was the one that suggested it and we couldn't refuse. Pig is my favorite meat, I love PORK! So, Saturday afternoon Mike, Christina, Chris and I paid our respects to my favorite protein.

Wursfest clown with cankles, he prolly suffers from gout.

A spread of fried treats. Fried pickles, fried sausage and cheese balls, fried olives stuffed with cheese and garlic and German potato salad.

Last, but not least, bread pudding! It was amazing. Moist and rich, slathered in butter sauce.

Oy, by the time we were done everyone needed Rolaids. I salute you sausage!
