NOLA

The hub and I spent a nice 3 day weekend in New Orleans. We ate some amazing food, drank way to much and relaxed. The weather was beautiful! I love NOLA; that city has an amazing vibe. Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure.

Birthday and Anniversary Fun

Wow, what a week! Chris celebrated his 37th birthday on Tuesday Oct. 7. I made his favorite, chicken Parmesan and we saw 'Burn after Reading'. Great movie, the Coen bros always get it right. Thursday was our 4 year wedding anniversary. Chris asked me a few months ago if we could pleeeeease go see the Monotonix, a crazy rock band from Tel Aviv, that night and celebrate our anniversary on Friday. I love a good rock show as much as he does, so I agreed. Boy, was it cray cray. From the moment they started, with the drums being set on fire, till it all ended outside of the club in the middle of the street. Monotonix did not disappoint! I wish I could have gotten some better photos of the action, but everything was happening so quickly and the lead singer had no problem throwing trash cans on people, so I stood to the back. Chris was up in the middle of it the whole time; his shirt was soaked with beer by the time the set was done.

All and all the week was great! Chris said it was one of his best birthdays ever and I think the way we celebrated our anniversary couldn't have been better!
